How to order CNC milling
1. Get in line
- Fill out the form and upload the files through the link on Moodle.
- If there are any errors in the file, we will contact you be e-mail.
2. Prepare material
- Name your material and place it on the table next to the CNC.
- Extra material for clamping is often needed, ask the workshops assistants for advice.
3. Pay and pick up
- We'll contact you when the job is done.
- Remember to hand in the receipt.
About your model
Please note:
- Make sure your model only contains the subject matter, and is in the right scale and size.
- Must be placed in 0.
Files and materials
File types
STL for 3D
- Solid or shell
- What you see is what you get, but the result might be coarser than anticipated
DXF for 2D
- Save as R12 if you can
- Contours must be closed
- Must be flat
Recommended materials
- Styrofoam (white)
- Green foam
- Brown foam
- Solid wood
Maximum working area:
1000 mm (L) x 480 mm (W) x 300 mm (H)
Prices
- 150 NOK per hour
- 100 NOK minimum charge
Delivery
Minimum three days from delivery to finished product.
