The 3D printing workshop

3D printing is a method used to create objects layer-by-layer based on a digital 3D model. You can produce a number of different models at the 3D printing workshop.

At the AHO 3D printing workshop, you can request models produced using SLS, SLA, CJP and FDM technology, all operated by the shop foreman. The service is subject to files being supplied in STL format.

Smaller FDM printers, such as the Ultimaker, can be borrowed for courses and projects and are operated by students and staff by agreement.

Requesting 3D printing

Students must log in to the portal (console.amfg.ai) to request 3D printing. When you upload a 3D model to the portal, you will receive a price estimate before the request is submitted to production.

Request 3D printing (closed)

All enquiries from external parties, such as commercial customers, will be prioritised after student projects and invoiced at separate rates. If you are not a student but would like information about the 3D printing services and prices, please do not hesitate to send an email to the shop foreman to request further information.
