Course Evaluation Process
The course evaluation consists of two parts: a mid-semester evaluation and a final evaluation. The mid-semester evaluation is carried out by the Course Coordinator approximately halfway through the course. During this evaluation, students can provide feedback on the course in dialogue with the Course Coordinator, who can make adjustments based on the feedback.
The final evaluation is carried out by the study administration after teaching has concluded. Anonymous quantitative data is collected on students’ experience of the course. Students can rate their satisfaction with, among other things, supervision, learning activities and the learning environment, as well as the relationship between the course’s learning outcomes and its teaching methods and organisation.
Once both evaluations have been completed, the Course Coordinator prepares a report that briefly describes the delivery of the course, the students’ main feedback, and any plans for further development. The report is then considered by the Programme Board.

Course Evaluation
Systematic course evaluation is an important tool for ensuring and further developing the quality of teaching. When students’ experiences and feedback are actively used, this not only contributes to improving learning outcomes, but also strengthens students’ ownership of their education. Course evaluation provides:
- Students with an opportunity to influence teaching and course content
- Teachers with a better basis for making teaching relevant and engaging, and for highlighting the significance of the course within the study programme
- Documentation of changes and development in courses over time, which is useful when academic staff change or programmes are revised
Dialogue Meetings and Further Follow-up
Annual bilateral meetings shall be held between the Head of Education and the person responsible at department and/or programme level. The meetings shall address prioritised activities and results achieved, as well as systematic quality assurance work. The management dialogue constitutes an important feedback loop in the quality assurance process.
