Bakgrunn og erfaring
I am a practice-based designer and researcher in more-than-human design. I work with microbiology, soil, and ancestral knowledge to offer sustainable and inclusive perspectives around human-planetary health. I conduct this research as a PhD fellow at the Institute of Design, for which I receive a Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada Doctoral Award grant. I also teach and supervise master's diplomas.
My previous education includes a Master of Arts in Social Design (Cum Laude, Best Thesis Award, Gijs Bakker Award Nominee) from the Design Academy Eindhoven (NL), a D.E.S.S. in Design d'événements and a Bachelor of Arts in Design de l'environnement from the Université du Québec à Montréal. Recently, my work has been showcased at the Venice Architecture Biennale, Dutch Design Week, Salone del Mobile Milano, Norwegian BioArt Arena, and the Madrid Biennial of Design and Architecture.
