Undervisning
My focus is upon service design and particularly design for service experience. I teach on both Bachelor and Master courses, with a main focus upon design for service experience at MA level.
Forskning
My research has spanned from methods for designing services, organisational uptake of service design and through to the specifics of designing for service experience. As part of this, I have introduced and developed the idea of the experience-centric organisation. This has a basis in the realisation that services have little value unless they are used. The service experience is what makes a service a success or not, and organisations are increasingly orienting themselves to develop relevant and valuable experiences to customers, users and also employees. The experience-centric organisation is a way for organisations to structure a transformation to be able to better provide experiences.
As part of this, I am presently researching design of experiential value propositions, experiential organisational structures and the experiential customer journey. Get in touch if this is of interest to you.
