Language requirements
Language of instructions: Lithuanian, English
Exchange students have the possibility to combine their study plan from the list of optional subjects in English and the list of available study programme subjects within particular departments. Normally the lectures in the departments are carried out in Lithuanian language, but as much of the study process is based on individual work, especially on thr MA level, exchange students might get individual instructions in English from assigned professors.
The Academy does require proof of English language (B2 level) - it can be a confirmation from AHO, international coordinators or a language course included in transcript of records. IELTS or TOEFL not required.
When can you apply?
Design students who are in their 6th or 7th semester (final semester of the foundation studies or first semester on master level) at the time of application.

Expenses and scholarships
Study fees
As an exchange student you pay only the AHO semester fee.
Accommodation
A limited amount of places in the student dormitory is available. Help in finding apartments rented from individuals is provided.
How to apply
Apply by February 1st for the autumn semester or September 15th for the spring semester.
The host institution application periods
- 15th of May for the autumn semester and full Academic Year
- 15th of November for the spring semester
