Architecture students who are in their 6th, 7th or 8th semester at the time of application.

- Autumn Semester: Mid September to End of January
- Spring Semester: February to June
Expenses and scholarships
Study fees
As an exchange student you pay only the AHO semester fee.
Accommodation
TCU does not provide student housing but will assist in finding and securing housing.
How to apply
Apply by February 1st for the autumn semester or September 15th for the spring semester.
If you are nominated by AHO, AHO will send your application by e-mail to TCU. Forms and templates for your application will be sent to you by the AHO International Office after you have accepted the nomination.
Your application should include:
- Exchange Student Application Form for Admission to Tokyo City University
- Letter of Recommendation
- Outline of Study Plan (Letter of Motivation)
- Declaration
- Application for Certificate of eligibility in Japan
- Certificate of Health (it is acceptable by any other format)
- Certificate of Enrollment (your home university at present)
- Academic Transcript
- Bank statement of applicant or parents
- ID Photo (30mm~40mm 300dpi) *reference site
- Passport ID page copy
- Student works Portfolio
The host institution application deadline
- Autumn Semester: 10. April 2021
- Spring Semester: Middle of December
