Requirements
Language requirements
Language of instructions: French, English
Although there is no language requirement to study at Strate, all courses are taught in French - except for the programs in Transportation and Smart Cities. Thus it is preferred that the students have at least an intermediate/high level in French, listening skills and it is highly recommended that the students possess at least an intermediate-mid level in ENGLISH in order to communicate with instructors.
When can you apply?
Design students in their 6th or 7th semester at the time of application.

- Product Design
- Transportation Design (French or English)
- Design for Smart Cities (English)
- Identities Design
- Space Design
- Interaction Design
- Immersive Design
The titles and content of the courses for each semester are set by the programmes and they change from year to year.

The academic year
- Fall semester: September to beginning of February
- Spring semester: End of January to end of June
Expenses and scholarships
Study fees
As an exchange student you pay only the AHO semester fee.
Accommodation
Strate School provides housing for exchange students.
How to apply
Apply by February 1st for the autumn semester or September 15th for the spring semester.
The host institution application deadlines
- For the 1st semester or the whole year: 1 June
- For the 2nd semester: 1 November
