With a problem-solving approach and close dialogue with the user group, the project investigates factors that contribute to motivation in an educational context.
The result is Collaboria, a platform designed to provide students with the tools they need to foster a collaborative workflow in their group assignments at school, while also having fun. The primary focus of this project has been to identify which tools can promote successful collaboration based on structure, participation and decision making.
KANBAN
The kanban board is an interactive tool where students can create tasks and assign them to group members. It gives a transparent overview of all the tasks that are in progress, finished and is yet to get started on.
PROGRESS TRACKER
The progress tracker makes it easier for students to adjust their own efforts in line with the rest of the group by visualizing the progress of both the individual student and group as a whole.
DECISION MAKER
The Decision Maker lets students choose between different ways that lead to a decision being made; a wheel of fortune that makes choices based on randomness or a quiz that makes choices based on knowledge.
