Shaped cups of the bra together with elastic materials provide good support. Sport mesh provides an underlay between the skin and protection, still maintaining good breathability. And a pocket for insertion of protectors, placed on the outside for easy reach creates convenient placement for protection, as not all training routines have need for use of protectors.
Velcro adjustments on both sides of the bra allow to tighten under breast band to ensure better fit. Adjustments are soft and designed without any hard plastic elements, to prevent any trauma or friction under the impact.
Removable impact protection cups printed with thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) flexible material. Difference in thickness and pattern structure ensure air circulation, rigidness of the shape around breast tissue for protection, and flexible borderline for soft impact distribution.
The research and development of the project is based on exploring existing sportswear designs, biomechanical considerations, and athlete feedback to identify key design features necessary to not only minimize discomfort and potential injury risks but also to enhance athletes’ confidence and performance.
