This project is not a showcase of wanted transformation.

The work is split into four acts, taking each act into a consideration weighted equally amongst one another:

An act surrounding an interplay between our surroundings and how it affects us and our built world, much like our building; Taubanehuset i Luster, and how it affects its by-passers.

The second act is my own experience of spending time with the house, wanting to understand it, and culminates in an attempt to register its personalities through photos, texts and drawings.

A third act, Taubanehusets role as a mediator of Harastølens history, the sanatorium our cable car house once lead to, an important part of Lusters past.

And lastly, an act suggesting a further use of the cable car house, a gallery, inspired by the sites earlier history in weaving, stamping and coloring.
