Our disciplines play a crucial role in shaping our environment and culture to both adapt to and mitigate the combined effects of climate change. The spatial awareness and aesthetic experience of ecology encompass mediating and sensing relationships between humans, nonhumans and the environment, while emphasizing that everything is connected. Here, we seek to imagine and create livable and diverse worlds that support relations based on mutual respect for everybody – both human and nonhuman.
