Research centres
AHO organizes its outstanding research environments in centers. These are research environments that, over a long period of time, have established and been awarded several major externally funded research projects. AHO currently has two research centers, one in architecture and one in design.
Ocean Industries Concept Lab (OICL)
We are a center and lab committed to develop knowledge that support user centered innovation processes in the maritime domain. Ocean Industries Concept Lab (OICL) is located at Institute of Design at Oslo School of Architecture and Design. The group is rooted in design practices such as industrial, interaction, graphic and service design and carries out projects in close collaboration with leading industry actors.
The Oslo Centre for Critical Architectural Studies (OCCAS)
The Oslo Centre for Critical Architectural Studies (OCCAS) is a research centre for humanities-based, advanced studies in architecture.
