All students are required to pay a semester fee to the Student Welfare Organisation in Oslo (SiO). The semester fee consists of the SiO contribution and a copying fee.
SiO’s Services
The Student Welfare Organisation SiO exists to ensure that, as a student, you have access to essential services at affordable prices. Even on a limited budget, you should have somewhere to live, a pleasant place to eat or meet friends for coffee, access to healthcare and exercise, nursery places, and a range of social activities – perhaps you'd like to join a student society or take part in one of our events? SiO therefore offers a wide range of services tailored to students, all at student-friendly prices throughout the year.
Below is an overview of the SiO services you may find useful during your studies:
- Find housing
- Food and Beverage
- Fitness and Sports
