  • Maximum number of files: 8

The synopsis is the first thing the examiners will read. Use it to provide a quick overview of your diploma thesis, your approach, and guidance on how they should navigate the rest of the material. It should include, but is not limited to, the following:

  • Abstract
  • Research question(s)
  • Reading instructions for rest of material (if applicable)

Format and file requirements

  • Project
  • Key research, findings, references, and process material
  • Reflections

Format and file requirements

  • Format: Any format, PDF file
  • Filename: Last name, First name_Binder 1.pdf

Binder 2: Process

This binder should showcase the process throughout the semester and guide the examiners through your working methods. It is recommended to not only present the process directly related to the final project but also other aspects of the journey, such as dead ends and choices you decided not to pursue further.

Format and file requirements

  • Format: Any format, PDF file
  • Filename: Last name, First name_ Binder 2.pdf

All material you plan to exhibit that is not submitted physically, must be uploaded digitally as part of the submission. You must compile these files into a single PDF. Drawings cannot be altered after the digital submission, but line thicknesses can be adjusted and fine-tuned for printing.

Format and file requirements

  • Format: One PDF file
  • Filename: Last name, First name_ Print files.pdf

Appendix (optional)

The appendix is a document where you can gather additional material that may not fit into any of the categories above but that you feel is important to share. For example, this could be a complete archive of original drawings.

  • Filename: Last name, First name_ Appendix.pdf

Video and audio files (optional)

  • Supported file types: .MOV, .MP4, .MP3, and .EXE

Submission of physical models

If your project consists of one or more models, these must be submitted by the deadline. The models will be securely stored until you set up the exhibition. All parts of the model must be labeled with your name and phone number during storage. You confirm the submission by signing the submission list provided by the study administration.

Publication agreement

In addition to the digital files for your diploma project, you must submit a signed publication agreement. The publication agreement should be submitted in a separate folder on Moodle.

After submission

You cannot further develop your project after submission. However, you can continue working on how you present the project by preparing for your presentation and planning the exhibition.

Note: Binder 1–2 and the appendix can be printed after the submission of the digital files, as long as the printed files match the files in the digital submission. All other books and booklets must be submitted together with the models.
