Career Paths for Architects and Designers:
In this lecture, Matteo Lomaglio will explore the many paths architectural education can open beyond the traditional architecture office.
From studying architecture at AHO to conducting digital fabrication research at ETH Zurich and co-founding AIVOX, Matteo's career has brought together design, technology, and entrepreneurship.
Today, AIVOX employs more than 15 people working across computational design, software development, robotics, and advanced manufacturing. The company's collaborations include projects with Pininfarina, ABB Robotics, and Tonino Lamborghini, turning ambitious ideas into physical realities.
Matteo will share his professional journey and introduce the innovative work taking place at AIVOX, offering a glimpse into where architectural skills, creativity, and curiosity can lead.
"The ACDL Studio was a pivotal experience in my academic development. It was where I first understood that code, geometry, and fabrication could form a single continuous design process, an idea that remains at the core of everything we do at AIVOX today," says Matteo Lomaglio.
