From Construction Waste to Building Blocks: The Poetics of Reuse

Slaatto Morsbøl is a young architectural practice exploring materiality and reuse with an inventive and poetic perspective.

A square construction, made out of layers of concrete

Slaatto Morsbøl is a young architectural practice based in Copenhagen, founded by architecture students Thelma Slaatto and Cecilie Morsbøl.

Despite still being in their studies, they have already made a remarkable impact on the architectural discourse, with work that has been widely published and awarded.

Their practice explores the reuse of waste materials through a direct yet poetic investigation of texture, tactility, and material properties — opening up matter itself for renewed ways of seeing and making.
