The project site, Ny Ellebjerg, is situated in the periphery of Copenhagen, in a context of small heterotopias scattered around with nearly no interaction between each other. Parallel to that, the site will become an important node in the regional infrastructural network of Copenhagen. In this context it seems irrelevant to do a conventional urban intervention. In our project we are rather playing with the concept of heterotopia as an inverted world consisting of a collection of urban spaces reconfigured in a miniature city, characterized by time acceleration and flux aesthetics. Instead of struggling to avoid the unreal, we want to embrace this other reality as a spectacular place and experience.
