Oslo
Oslo
As the capital of Norway, Oslo is a modern city with a combination of city-life and easy access to outdoor activities. Good international transport connections and an effective public transport system make it easy to get around within the city, and to escape into the great outdoors.
How to get to Oslo
The city of Oslo is the capital of Norway and travelling here is easy. There are several daily flights from most Nordic, Baltic, and major European cities, and most international airlines fly here.
Oslo airport (OSL) is located outside the city, and the easiest way to go into town is by far the airport shuttle, leaving every 10 minutes, and taking 20 minutes into town. Get off at Oslo S/Oslo central station. The venues and the hotels are within walking distance, 10-20 minutes away.
Weather
Oslo can be quite wintry at the end of November with temperatures around 0 degrees. Its worth bringing several layers of clothing to insulate yourself. A long-term weather forecast is available here.
