Vaccination for Influenza A (H1N1)

The Student Health Services starts vaccination for risk groups on Tuesday 3rd of November from 2.00 pm. If you belong to any risk group, you can call 22 85 31 60 to make an appointment for vaccination.

Other students will be offered vaccination at a later stage, probably 1-2 weeks later. Information will follow continously on sio.no. 

The charge for Influenza A(H1N1) vaccination is NOK 100.

Do you suspect that you have caught swine flu?
If you suspect that you have caught swine flu and belong to any risk group or have severe symptoms, you should contact your list doctor, the Student Health Services or the Oslo Emergency Medical Centre for consultation.

Risk groups
Pregnant women (4. to 9.month of pregnancy) and persons aged 3 to 64 years who suffer from:

  • Chronic cardiovascular diseases
  • Chronic lung diseases, particularly those with reduced lung capasity
  • Low immunity
  • Diabetes Mellitus type 1 and 2
  • Chronic kidney or liver failure
  • Chronic neurological illnesses
  • Severe obesity (BMI >40)

Student Health Services has set up a dedicated helpline 22 85 46 00, which is staffed Monday to Friday from 9.00 am till 3.00 pm.
