Procedure for applying for international exchange program for AHO students
- Deadlines for applying for exchange program are announced on AHO’s website. Students can apply for up to 3 exchange partner institutions.
- The Department of Academic Services contacts individual applicants after the deadline with information about further application procedure.
- Application letters to partner institutions will be sent by the Department of Academic Services. Students are responsible for preparing documents such as portfolio, motivation letter, CV and so on in ample time before application letter is sent to the partner institution. The Department of Academic Services is responsible for issuing transcripts and other necessary letters of confirmation regarding students’ studies.
- In case that there are more qualified applicants than available places at an institution, the Assessment Committee will rank the applicants based on the submitted portfolios. The best candidate(s) will be recommended to the partner institution in question.
- Students under the Erasmus and Nordplus exchange program shall set up a learning agreement at the start of semester abroad.
- Practice and courses which are not at the masters’ degree level will not be approved by AHO.
- Approved learning agreement is a condition for receiving scholarship.
- Students who join exchange program at other partner institutions shall present a study plan to the Department of Academic Services for approval at the start of semester.
