AHO announces travel grants for architecture students
AHO puts up two travel grants of 10.000 NOK each, for master students of architecture in their 7th and 8th semester. The grants will support a study trip themed "Sustainability in Scandinavia", 5th-23rd June 2011 to Penn State University, T.C.Chan Centre.
The stipends will support participation in a study / lecture trip with 20 students and faculty from University of Pennsylvania (Philadelphia) in USA. The study theme is sustainable architecture in Scandinavia based on examples in Oslo, Stockholm and Copenhagen.
The program maintains a high professional and academic level, and spans three weeks, one week in each city. Mondays-Thursdays are reserved for site visits and evening lectures. Fridays-Sundays are free for individual studies and transfers between the Scandiavian capitals. See attached program in separat file
The participants will gain 6 study points, equal to an elective course. The selected students shall report in the form of a coordinated lecture of 2x45 minutes (in English) during the fall semester 2011.
Applications must be delivered in printed A4 format at the counter of Academic services at AHO no later than 15:00 (3:00 PM) on Thursday 12th of May 2011.

- Short description of motivation (max. 300 words).
- Teacher reference (not Marius Nygaard, who will evaluate the applications).
Page 2 and 3 (A4):
- Selected illustrations / texts from your completed projects.
