Randi Stene is new managing director at AHO

Randi Stene is currently the Head of Administration at the Institute of Clinical Medicine at the University of Oslo. The institute has 700 employees and has close partnerships with the university hospitals in Oslo and Akershus. She has the last two years been responsible for the reorganization of the institute in connection with the merger of the four major hospitals in Oslo into Oslo University Hospital. She has been employed at the Faculty of Medicine for the last 11 years.

Stene was educated literary scholar at the University of Oslo, but has since graduation, worked with administration and management in the university sector.

- When I now start at AHO I will be getting closer to my educational background. Even though it is a new academic discipline for me, many things will be similar, says Stene.

- I am looking forward to getting to know the students and staff at the school. It will be very exciting to work at AHO, said Stene.

Stene is married, has two children and lives in Kolbotn.
