34 candidates awarded their Masters

Friday 10 June, The Oslo School of Architecure and Design had the pleasure of hosting the diploma ceremony for this spring’s candidates.

20 graduates were awarded the degree Master of Industrial Design, and 14 candidates received the degree of Master of Architecture in front of an audience of teachers, family and friends. In addition, two candidates awarded the degree of Master in Urbanism, however these two were not present during the ceremony.

The ceremony was led by the Head of the Department of Design, Jonathan Romm who boasted of candidates.

This is a result of good and hard work! You have proven in a creative manner and with excellent insight into your various fields of exploration, that you are worthy of a new professional title! The AHO WORKS DIPLOMA exhibition is an admirable reflection of this. It has been a pleasure to know you and work with you, said Romm at the ceremony.

True to tradition two recently graduated musicians from the Norwegian Academy of Music, Lars Andreas Aspesæter and Jonas Kilmork Vemøy, played during the ceremony, before candidates were awarded their diplomas by principal Karl Otto Ellefsen.

The diploma projects are exhibited at AHO until 17 June. The exhibition shows works with architectural design, urban planning, sustainability issues, product design, concept design and interaction design.
