New AHO Board appointed

This summer, the members of the new AHO Board for the term 2009-2013 were announced. The board is the main governing body at AHO, and has the overall responsibility that the school is run subject to legislation and within budget.

Member of the Nowegian parliament Ågot Valle (from SV) is appointed by the Ministry of education and research as the successor of Inger Aarvig. In addition, the Board consist of elected members from the faculty, administration and students as well as appointed external members from the educational and private business sector. Among the external members is industrial designer and director of Stokke Industries Hilde Angelfoss, director Per Arild Garnåsjordet, dean at the University of Umeå Peter Kjær.

The new board constituates on August 19th. On of the most important tasks this semester is appointing a new Rector. A desicion here is expected in late September.
