Disputations at AHO this autumn

AHO expects to hold six disputations this semester.

The first to present her PhD thesis is Ingvild Digranes, research fellom at the faculty of Art, Design and Drama at Oslo University College. On August 21st, she presents and holds a trial lecture discussing her thesis Den kulturelle skulesekken. Narratives and myths of educational practice in DKS projects within the subject art and crafts.”

On November 4th, Ezekiel Z.M. Moshi, architect and PhD candidate at AHOs Institute of Urbanism and Landscape presents his thesis ”Urban transformation: Changing building types in Kariakoo, Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania”.

The following candidates will also present their PhD thesises this autumn:

  • Karen Brænne, research fellow at the faculty of Art, Design and Drama at Oslo University College
  • Erling Dokk Holm, social scientist, columnist and research fellow at the AHO Institute of Urbanism and Landscape. 
  • Arne Magnus Johnsrød: Professor II at the Faculty of Visual Arts at the Oslo National Academy of the Arts, goldsmith and PhD candidate at the Institute of Architecture at AHO
  • Johan Bettum: Architect and PhD candidate at the Institute of Form, Theory and History at AHO
