The management at AHO

The board
The board is the main body at AHO. The school's external board chair, Ågot Valle, is appointed by the Ministry of education and research.

The board is responsible for the general operation and development at AHO, for running the institution according to the applicable laws and regulations, for keeping within set budget limits and for making sure the school's tasks are performed in the best possible manner.

Rector
Rector Karl Otto Ellefsen oversees the academic and administrative work at AHO. He is currently in his second term as employeed rector (2009-2013), and has also served one term as elected rector (2001-2005).
